Established as a community foundation, Foundation For The Carolinas is a nonprofit corporation created by and for the people of the Carolinas. We are here to help individuals, families, nonprofits and corporations make a positive impact on their communities. As a public charity, the Foundation offers favorable tax treatment for gifts and a variety of giving methods to help people achieve their charitable goals.

Today, the Foundation is one of the largest community foundations in the Southeast and among the top 10 in the United States.
