"The new charity, Charlotte Family Housing, will focus on quickly getting homeless parents with minors off the streets and into transitional shelters and apartments. The groups say the merged program will serve almost 600 people a year, with the number growing in the future. The new agency will rely on the combined resources of The Workforce Initiative for Supportive Housing (WISH), Charlotte Emergency Housing and Family Promise of Charlotte."
