The Affordable Housing Dream by John Crosland, Jr outlines Mr. Crosland's plan to address affordable housing in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. The plan focuses on 3 key factors which he believes contributes to the shortage of affordable housing units in Charlotte. They are (1) increasing housing costs resulting from land use policies;
2) lack of adequate public funding for affordable housing programs; and
3) absence of an effective constituency advocating affordability.
